Made in Canada is making a name for itself as one of Canada’s most exciting touring ensembles. Each member of the group has been forging outstanding individual careers and they come together with a wealth of experience and a shared love of chamber music. Made in Canada was awarded a 2006 CBC Galaxie Rising Stars Award from the Banff Centre for the Arts . Chatelaine’s 80 amazing Canadian women to watch states. . . “these outstanding young women brought the audience to their feet”.

German composer Robert Schumann first fell in love with a young Clara Wieck during his early piano training under her father. The father was bitterly opposed to the courtship, but despite this, an estimated 20,000 letters were written between these two. Join us on this journey with words and music through a life of love, obstacles, happiness and tragedy.
